Visit a Community
Hospitality and welcoming guests is a key part of the lives of many communities. There are lots of different ways to share in the life of a community – you might choose to visit for the day, (often called ‘quiet days’), spend a week or so on retreat with a community, or spend a longer period of a couple of weeks or months as an alongsider. All communities offer different forms of hospitality and you find details in their websites.

A Comprehensive List of Anglican Religious Communities
The list above only focusses on Anglican communities who welcome guests and have a hospitality ministry. You can find a comprehensive list of communities on the Directory Page of the Anglican Religious Life Yearbook website. The directory has all the communities in the UK and across the Anglican Communion.
Other Retreat Centres
There are also retreat centres across the UK that aren’t associated with a residential, traditional religious community. You can find a full list of places from many Christian denominations on The Retreat Association’s website.
